How We Measure Up Nationally

Lean how our care compares to that of other hospitals nationwide

It's easy to say “Quality is our Goal.” Living up to that pledge takes hard work and the dedication of everyone at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network. We live up to that pledge with these three ingredients:

The right people. Our people meet the highest standards of their professions, with a dedication to excellence, advanced certification and hands-on experience.

The right care. Compassion, experience and the use of current research results when treating patients—that's what evidence-based medicine is all about.

The right systems. The desire to do things better drives technology and process enhancements, allowing us to provide the most advanced treatment options.

Measuring Quality. We can tell you about the quality of care we provide, but the opinions of independent observers are more valuable to you as a patient. The most prominent of these is Press Ganey, a research firm that measures patient satisfaction for the hospital as a whole and for smaller groups within the hospital. Every employee knows our current ratings and continually works to maintain our high patient satisfaction standards.
